LTCC is a hub for culture and the arts in the Tahoe Basin. The Duke Theatre is home to live theatre and musical performances, and is the site of the annual TEDx South Lake Tahoe event. LTCC's campus also includes several modern art exhibition spaces, including the Haldan Gallery, where LTCC Art Department students and visiting artists showcase their talents and the community can come enjoy it all at no cost. All that beautiful art is available to enjoy virtually as well!

The South Shore's passion for soccer is well served by LTCC's world-class soccer pitch, one of the largest in the Western U.S. The field and surrounding areas were upgraded in 2017 with fan seating, paved walkways, safe and green cork infill turf, and a new scoreboard and lighting. LTCC Coyote men's & women's soccer games are free to attend, and these teams have earned multiple national rankings, conference titles, and state Final Four appearances. The field also hosts a number of adult and youth soccer programs.

In Fall 2023, LTCC will launch its men's & women's Cross Country athletic program. Long-Distance Track will launch in Spring 2024.

Community members can take advantage of free career support through LTCC. Dedicated career coaching and counseling is available, along with an array of professional development support, resume guidance, career assessment testing and more.
