DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM
Lake Tahoe Community College's partnership with South Tahoe High School fundamentally supports student success through a program called Dual Enrollment. This free program provides local high school students with an opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time. All LTUSD students are welcome to participate in this program, which begins by students registering for and taking Healthy Lifestyle Choices during 9th grade. Like all LTCC students, Dual Enrollment students also receive a high level of personalized support to encourage classroom success and continuation in the program.
Dual enrollment is a wonderful opportunity for local high school students to get ahead on college credits, fulfill high school graduation requirements, and ultimately save money on education. All dual enrollment courses take place at South Tahoe High School during the regular scheduled day.
