Having stable housing is an important part of student success at Lake Tahoe Community College. Our student housing resources are here to help you find local housing options, provide tips for securing rentals, and connect you with potential roommates. How to Apply for Student Housing

Housing placement is on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed. We encourage students to apply early. Students applying for housing might be placed on a waitlist, depending on demand and the number of applications received. Please follow the instructions below for completing your student housing application.

1. Apply to Lake Tahoe Community College
   Complete your LTCC application at cccapply.com (You may begin applying for Fall 2025 on February 1.)
2. Activate Self-Service Portal
   Once your application has been accepted and processed, you will receive an email titled "Welcome Message from LTCC." This message will provide instructions for activating your student portal account. Please read these directions carefully and make sure that you create a new password for your account as well as completing the directions for setting up the MFA (multifactor authentication) using Microsoft Single Sign-on. (This is an app you will need to download to your portable device.)
   1. Note: All communcations about student housing will come through the self-service student portal and your LTCC email. We do not recommend forwarding these emails to your personal account as this does not always work correctly. 
3. Wait 24 Hours
   Once you are able to sign in successfully to your student portal and email account, wait at least 24 hours for your account to be updated in the school's housing portal.
4. Login To Student Housing Portal
   Login to the housing application portal at ltcc.erezlife.com and follow the prompts to complete an application for Fall 2025.
5. Apply For Financial Aid
   Finally, if you have not done so already, make sure that you complete and submit the 2025-2026 FAFSA financial aid application, which will be used to determine your eligibility for housing.
