Discovery Center
The Discovery Center is a multi-media experience that includes digital interviews with artists, collectors, and historians talking about such things as the individual works of art, historical influences, and technical explanations of how the art was made.
Funding for the Discovery Center has been made possible through a generous grant from Soroptimists International of South Lake Tahoe. It is through their generous support that as a visitor to our gallery that you will not only be able to view the works of art on display, but learn more about the art and artists through hands-on, interactive technology.
Activities for Children
Young artists are invited to participate in hands-on experiences in the Discovery Center. Docents can provide handouts and guidance for the activities. There are also PowerPoint presentations related to the activities on the computers in the Discovery Center.
