Returning Students
You are considered a Returning Student if you have attended LTCC before but have missed two or more consecutive quarters.
If you previously enrolled in college and have earned some college credits, you might be closer to a degree than you think! For students interested in graduating with an Associate Degree, we offer dedicated support to help you from enrollment to graduation and beyond.
Need Support Returning to LTCC? We Can Help →
Step 1: Apply
Sign In to your existing CCCApply account and start a new application. Do not create a new account.
Once you have completed your application, you will receive an email from LTCC within a few days. Keep an eye out- this email will contain important information like your Student ID number and login username and password.
Once you have received your username and password, you can login to Passport Self-Service to check your LTCC email, register for classes, manage your payments and financial aid, and track your degree progress.
If you have any questions throughout the application process, please contact Enrollment Services at (530) 541-4660, ext. 620 or send an email to enrollmentservices@ltcc.edu. Se habla español.
Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid
You might qualify for free tuition, work-study programs that allow you to work on campus, or low-interest financial aid loans. It's always worth applying.
If you are a U.S. citizen, use the FAFSA application.
For AB 540 students, use the California Dream Act Application.
For questions about financial aid, contact América Ramírez at ramirez@ltcc.edu or call (530) 541-4660, ext. 237. Se habla español.
Step 3: Meet with a Counselor
Meet with an academic advisor prior to re-registering for classes to create your Comprehensive Educational Plan. Your advisor will help you create a direct plan towards completing your associate degree. Having a clear path will allow you to explore your options, graduate faster, and avoid taking unnecessary classes.
Academic advisors can also help with a number of other topics like career exploration, transfer applications, transcript evaluations, personal matters, and much more.
Make an appointment through Cranium Cafe using your LTCC login information. Counselors are available in person, via virtual appointments, or over the phone.
Step 4: Register for Classes
Find the class times and locations that work for you using our Schedule of Classes.
To register for classes, login to Passport Self-Service Portal and click "Student Planning" where you can plan your degree and register for classes.
Step 5: Submit Transcripts
If you have completed any course work at other accredited institutions, submit any previous official transcripts for evaluation. Submitting your official transcripts from prior institutions will ensure that you are credited for any prerequisites or course work already completed.
To Submit your Transcripts -
Please contact your previous institution(s) to have your official transcripts sent to LTCC.
