Career & Technical Education
Lake Tahoe Community College’s cutting-edge, rigorous and relevant Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs prepare students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers.
CTE programs are led by educators with extensive expertise in their field, many of whom also hold positions outside of the college in their industries. CTE programs are also supported by Advisory Committees, made up of local employers and industry professionals who are consulted on the development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of programs within a career pathway. LTCC works closely with a wide range of local, state and federal stakeholders to develop and promote workforce development programs and to support the needs of business and industry.
CTE programs give students what’s needed to succeed in the ever-changing world of 21st century careers: technical, academic, and employability skills. Talk to us today!
