Open Enrollment 2024/2025
The Lake Tahoe Community College District has increased the annual health and welfare cap provided to classified staff, confidential staff, administrators, and directors. In 2024/2025, the annual cap will be $21,030 for these employees, along with their dependents, to be applied toward a Health and Welfare benefit package and medical plan of their choice from our TCSIG provider.

Each eligible employee can choose one of four comprehensive medical plans. For more
information, review the Summary of Benefits and Coverage for each plan.
What COVERED EMPLOYEES need to do for Open Enrollment 2024/2025:
1. Complete the HCOnline Open Enrollment process (even if you are not changing plans). A full explanation on how to register, open enroll, and change plans if applicable is available in the HCOnline Member Enrollment Guide.
2. CHECK YOUR DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION in HCOnline, update as necessary.
3. Fill out a web form:
- If you end up in Premier or Standard for 2024/2025, fill out the Payroll Deduction Form
- If you end up in CDHP for 2024/2025, fill out the Payroll Contribution Form
4. Be sure to have active/open HSA, 403(b) or 457 plan if you end up in CDHP. Please email humanresources@ltcc.edu with questions about activating/opening HSA, 403(b) or 457 plan(s).
Steps 1 and 2 above need to be completed by Friday, June 14, 2024 at 5pm.

Tri-County Schools Insurance Group (TCSIG), LTCC’s insurance JPA, was formed in 1983 to establish and maintain property, liability, health, dental, vision and group life insurance. Dental Insurance
The LTCC health & welfare coverage package includes the D1B Dental Plan from Delta Dental. The annual maximum TCSIG will pay for dental work
is $2,000 unless the insured uses a dentist approved by the Delta Preferred Option
program. Then the additional $250 is added to the annual maximum. If a non-participating
dentist is used, then costs of covered benefits will only be covered at 50%.

Vision Insurance
The LTCC health & welfare coverage package includes Plan C from VSP. This plan covers one annual eye exam. Additionally, an annual eyeglass
frame allowance of $150 (with 20% discount on frame overage) OR an annual contact

Life and AD&D Insurance
The LTCC health & welfare coverage package includes Option III from Voya Financial. This policy pays $50,000 to your beneficiary. It also provides $5,000 life insurance for a spouse and/or dependent. Group life coverage through Voya also includes Emergency Travel Assistance Services which provides immediate access to doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and certain other services for eligible participants while traveling internationally or domestically more than 100 miles away from home.

Part 2 Information:
The District has received preliminary findings on the classification portion of the overall study from Ewing Consulting.
Based on input from your questionnaire and classification interview, a job description has been drafted and classification assigned to your position. You should have received a link to your specific job description on Thursday June 8, along with the feedback form as an attachment.
Feedback forms for both supervisor and employee are due back to the Human Resource Office by 5pm on June 15.
If we do not receive a feedback form from you, we will assume you are satisfied with the classification title and description.

There will be no rate increase for 2018/2019 PPO plans.

- The Premier Plan's calendar year out-of-pocket medical is now $2,500 (reduced from $3,000) per person and $5,000 (reduced from $6,000) for family.
- The Standard Plan's calendar year out-of-pocket medical is now $3,500 (reduced from $4,000) per person and $7,000 (reduced from $8,000) for family.
- The Basic Plan was enriched in 2017/18 as the deductible is now $1,000 (reduced from $1,500) per person and $2,000 (reduced from $3,000) for family, and the coinsurance is now 30% (reduced from 50%).
- The CDHP Plan's medical deductible is now $1,500 (reduced from $1,750) per person and $3,000 (reduced from $3,500) for family and the calendar year out-of-pocket medical is now $5,000 (reduced from $6,450) per person and $10,000 (reduced from $12,900) for family.
There will also be no rate increases for our dental and vision plans. This rate lock is partly the result of a multi-year effort of work by the JPA (with LTCC representative participation) to better contain costs, renegotiate better medical provider contracts, and be more efficient.

Open Enrollment 2023/2024
The Lake Tahoe Community College District is excited to announce an increase to the annual health and welfare cap provided to each eligible employee. In 2023/2024, the annual cap will be $19,530 per eligible employee, along with their dependents, to be applied toward a Health and Welfare benefit package and medical plan of their choice from our TCSIG provider.
After six years of no rate increases, there is a slight rate increase for 2023/2024
