Getting your money
What happens after your FAFSA is filed and you've submitted all the other required documents requested by the Financial Aid Office at LTCC?
An award letter is posted in Passport once your financial aid file is complete and has been evaluated. This letter will indicate the type and amount of awards we are able to offer you. You can find the award letter in WebAdvisor: first click on "Financial Aid", then click "Financial Aid Award Letter".
Your financial aid is divided into 2 checks per quarter: 50% is typically sent out by the end of the 2nd week of the quarter, and 50% after mid-term.
All checks are mailed to the current address on file with Lake Tahoe Community College. For this reason, it is imperative that you keep your mailing address current.
