Fees at LTCC are well below the national average.
Current fees are listed in the table below. Prospective students should also consider the additional costs for housing, transportation, books, and other expenses. Many California students are eligible for the Board of Governors' fee waiver. Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid.
Current students: All fees and tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration. You may pay your fees via WebAdvisor in Passport. Please see the Schedule of Classes for the current quarter for additional information about fees and refunds.
*THESE FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE PENDING BOARD OF TRUSTEES OR CALIFORNIA STATE LEGISLATIVE ACTION.
Residency: Determining residency can be very complicated. At the time of application and/or registration, students are asked to provide information that is used to establish their legal residency. Please see the Residency page for additional information.
AB 540 Waiver: If you are not a California resident, but attended a California high school for three years or more and graduated (or received a GED or the equivalent), you may qualify for a waiver of non-resident tuition. Please contact the Admissions & Records Office for further information.
**Health Fee Exemption: Per Section 76355 of the Education Code, LTCC provides an exemption for "students who depend exclusively upon prayer for healing in accordance with the teachings of a bona fide religious sect, denomination, or organization." Procedures for claiming this exemption are available at the Admissions & Records Office.
Failure to Pay a Financial Obligation: Grades, transcripts, diplomas, and registration privileges, or any combination thereof, shall be withheld from any student who has been provided with written notice that he/she has failed to pay a proper financial obligation due the LTCC District. Items withheld shall be released when the student meets financial obligations (Title 5 section 59410).
