ATTN: If you have filled out either a 2010-11 fee waiver (BOGFW) application or a 2010-11 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and you are billed when you register for classes, please contact the Financial Aid Office, at (530) 541-4660 ext. 236 OR shaferL@ltcc.edu, to see if you are eligible for a fee waiver.

Chemistry

The chemistry program at Lake Tahoe Community College provides foundation courses for students seeking to transfer as physical and biological science majors as well as for those who intend to enter an allied health field (such as nursing).

The curriculum consists of the year-long general chemistry sequence as well as course offerings in organic chemistry. Additionally, chemistry courses satisfy general education requirements in the physical sciences for both science and non-science majors.
